The Elk Rapids Garden Club earned several State awards of distinction from The Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc, thanks to the efforts of some very enterprising garden club members.

1. 4 First Place Poetry awards (4th, 5th, 8th grades)
2. 1 First Place Poster Award (5th grade)
